Dr. Mathias Mäurer is Professor of Neurology at the University of Würzburg Germany. He is currently the Head of the Department of Neurology and Neuro Intensive Care Klinikum Würzburg Mitte Würzburg.
After finishing medical school in 1994 Dr. Mäurer trained at the Department of Neurology at the Würzburg University Hospital. Then he went on to complete a post-doctorate fellowship in developmental neurobiology.
In 2006 Dr. Mäurer took a position as Head of the Clinical Research Group for Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology in the Department of Neurology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg Germany. In 2012 he also completed a Masters degree in Health Business Administration.
Dr. Mäurer has both authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on multiple sclerosis and neurology.
